What Our Employees Say About Working Here
It’s no secret that Holly Residential Care Center has a reputation for delivering quality care to our residents. That reputation comes from the way everyone is treated here: with dignity and respect. Here’s what some of our employees have to say about working here:
Like a Family
I feel very comfortable working here because it feels like a home. Everybody is friendly. All the residents are very nice. I’ve never worked at a place that felt like this. It’s like a family.
Fun and Enjoyable
I like the overall goal of Holly Residential and the philosophy of Mary Ellen and Jeff (the owners). I feel like my input is valued by management. I like the fast-paced environment. It’s never boring, that’s for sure. The work is hard, but the residents and staff make it fun and enjoyable.
Management Really Works with Staff
First, I like the people, the residents and staff. Second, the owner is friendly. Third, I like the considerations to employee issues. Management really works with staff to do the best for everyone.
I Love Being a Team Member Here
I love working with the residents and staff here. There is a lot of care and compassion all over the building. I love being a team member here; we have lots of fun. There’s not really anything I don’t like about being here, but if I had to pick a top thing I love about Holly Residential it’s that on a daily basis I get to make the residents feel happy and cared for.
I Get to Make a Difference
I love working at Holly Residential because I get to make a difference in people’s lives each day I work. We have great residents and my co-workers are awesome. I feel Holly Residential Care Center really cares about people.
One Big Family
I love the feeling when you are in the building. To me, it feels like one big family. It’s hard to put in words, but it’s a comfortable feeling.
Making a Difference Daily
The best thing about HRCC is the team. We encourage the residents’ interests both emotional and spiritual. Outside visitors are impressed that we provide so many indoor and outdoor activities; that we support our residents by being with them while still encouraging independence. The team here truly cares about the residents’ needs in a personal way. I love being part of the ‘A’ team and making a difference daily.
Love and Compassion
Working at Holly Residential is great because the staff here is very friendly. The love and compassion they have for the residents is incredible and they’re always going the extra mile to make sure everyone who lives here feels right at home.
Everyone Is Genuine
I love working here; the environment feels more like a big family than a facility. Everyone is genuine, every resident is loved, and every caregiver strives to be kind and accommodating.
Like We Were Part of a Family
We are nursing students interning at Holly Residential. On our first day here we felt welcomed by the staff. Everyone was willing to help us out as if we were new employees. Our overall experience was memorable and satisfied our learning needs. We will miss our time with the staff and residents because it felt like we were part of a family.
A Sense of Accomplishment
I love feeling needed. When I am able to help each resident it gives me a sense of accomplishment. It is also so rewarding because the residents are always smiling and happy after they’re given great care.
I like to work at Holly Residential because I have the opportunity to help the residents and share in precious moments. I love all of the residents and my work team, too.
A Facility That Cares
It is a facility that cares for the residents in all aspects of their daily lives. We have an activity department that involves people and gets residents to laugh and interact with each other and the staff. It is also a family-owned business, not run by some big, impersonal corporation from out of state.
Love the Community
I love the community: Both the staff and residents and how the staff work between themselves and with the residents. It makes a big difference.
Bringing Smiles to Their Faces
I enjoy working around the residents, talking with them, and bringing a smile to their faces. I may not be a ‘caregiver’ but I care give in my own way of cleaning their rooms and making sure their belongings get washed, dried, and returned to their rooms.
Grateful to be Part of a Team That Cares
I like being a part of the community and building friendships with the residents as well as my fellow co-workers. I am grateful to be part of a team that cares so much for the residents we all care for.
